"The Apprentice of the Sun" is a powerful and emotive minimalist reverie about the infinite universe and the human condition. Loosely based on the Greek epic poem of The Odyssey it explores the state of modern society and humanity as a whole. Dreamlike soundscapes contrast with powerful walls of sound leading to a devastating climax. With their second single, Phoney Sea take you on a captivating journey to the inner depths of consciousness full of longing, lyricism and despair.
